Dopo 4 anni dall’ultimo lavoro Hail to the Thief, torna una delle band più geniali degli ultimi anni sto parlando dei RadioHead. Il loro nuovo disco si chiama in the Rainbows ed ha impegnato il gruppo per due anni, molte polemiche hanno accompagnato l’uscita di questo album in particolar modo è stata la decisione del gruppo di pubblicare ad ottobre il cd soltanto via download,facendo decidere ai fans la somma da spendere per scaricare l’intero disco. Una vera e propria rivolta contro le case discografiche che ha visto il consenso anche di altri artisti che ben presto seguireanno le orme dei RadioHead, tra cui sembra ci sia anche Madonna.
Tornando a parlare dell’album il primo singolo ufficiale ad essere estratto è JigSaw Falling into Place,all’inizio la canzone aveva un’altro titolo “Open Pick” infatti questo ero il nome con cui la band eseguiva il pezzo durante le varie tournee nel 2006. Il testo della canzone ci parla delle paure e delle emozioni che provano due persone al loro primo incontro. Il video è stato girato in una stanza che vede l’inquadratura di ogniuno dei componenti della band susseguirsi,questo è il primo video dal lontano 2000 che vede tutta la band al completo…..
