Madina Lake – here i stand (from us, throught them, to you) (video + testo)

Arrivano dall’America I Madina Lake, che devono il loro nome propio a un fiume .Una band che fa il suo debutto con l’album “From Them, Through Us, To You” dalle influenze Heavy Metal e Post Hardcore.Uno dei singoli di maggior successo almeno qui in europa è Here I stand, un pezzo che si avvicina di più al pop/punk ma che non perde le caratteristiche Post-hardcore della band.

Un testo della canzone che sembra ruotare intorno alla scomparsa di una ragazza di nome Adalia. Anche il video riprende in qualche modo il tema trattato dalla canzone, infatti durante tutto il clip possiamo notare come ci siano appesi in alcuni luoghi dei fogli con la scritta della scomparsa della ragazza in questione. Be se vi piacciono gruppi come “Lostprophets” e “The Red Jump Apparatus” amerete anche loro….vi lascio al video….

James Blunt – Same mistake (video + testo)

Dopo il grandissimo successo di ” 1973“, James blunt è pronto ha lanciare il suo secondo singolo dal suo venduttissimo album All the lost soul. Si trtta di Same Mistake,anche questo pezzo conferma la bravura dell’artista inglese e la semplicità con cui riesce a scrivere i suoi brani pieni di vita e realtà cosi vicine a noi.

Mi sembra una canzone molto adatta per l’inverno che sta arrivando anche se mi ricorda un pò The Scientist dei Coldplay specialmente quel verso di ululato che c’è in entrambie le canzoni. Il video è stato girato in Canada a Toronto e vede la regia di Jonas Akerlund, che conosciuto per aver lavorato con Madonna e Christina Aguilera. Cosa Ne pensate? vi lascio al video….
